LOS PRIMEROS EN JUGAR EN LA REAPERTURA DE DOÑA JULIA GOLF

El día 18 de de diciembre de 2.010 se produjo, como estaba previsto y programado, la reapertura de la totalidad del Campo de Golf de Doña Julia, aunque el mal tiempo y las intensísimas lluvias caídas en toda la Costa  del Sol durante toda la jornada impidieron que nadie pudiera jugar en el mismo.Sin embargo a primera hora del día 19 de diciembre dejo de llover, permitiendo que los primeros jugadores pudieran disfrutar del campo, siendo los cuatro primeros los Srs. D. Eddy Shelton, D. Ian Gordón Willians, D. Ralph Jonh Dade y D. Peter Robinson, todos ellos socios del Club y muy queridos en el mismo.Pudieron además comprobar que el campo, pese a ingente cantidad de lluvia que había caído durante las últimas veinticuatro horas, había drenado las decenas de litros de agua de lluvia que se habían precipitado sobre su césped, con lo que pudieron desarrollar su juego con normalidad. 

A estos cuatro jugadores les siguieron otros que, pese a las adversas condiciones meteorológicas, pudieron disfrutar de su afición favorita, el juego del golf, en el magnifico Campo de Doña Julia Golf.

Last Saturday, 18th December, as planned in program, the opening of Dona Julia’s complete round of 18 holes took place, although heavy rains and bad weather on the Costa del Sol over the whole day did not allow enjoyment of the newly delivered 18 holes.However, the morning of the 19th, the rain ceased, allowing the first groups of players start their rounds. The first players to enjoy our new course where Mr. Eddy Shelton, Mr. Ian Gordon-Williams, Mr. Ralph John Dade and Mr. Peter Robinson, all of them dearly Club Members.Our first players could appreciate that the course, in spite of the heavy rain suffered the previous day, had drained tens of liters of rain out of its surface, so the game could take place in absolute normality.

After these four players, other groups followed and, regardless of the bad weather conditions, could enjoy their favorite sport in the magnificent Dona Julia Golf Course.
